    Rob Strickland founded M37 Ventures, Inc as a next-generation Management Consulting & Business Solutions Company that services domestic and international organizations to understand and harness technology to propel their business today’s global IT economy.

    Rob is presently serving as Interim CTO for Kymeta Corp. He also was Interim CEO of Atonomi.io/Centri Technologies he provided a set of layered security products for the IoT marketplace through its innovative Atonomi Network, delivered through Etherium blockchain technology. Rob also has served as President and COO for Text+, a software-based MVNO platform with >2M subscribers with >100M downloads. Additionally, Strickland currently provides services to several international companies and several large US-based brands. Clients include NTT Data Systems, Televisa, Grupo Carso/HITSS, CSG International, TruConnect, Hortonworks, SAP, Neustar, Sumo Logic, CR-X (Australia), CallGate (S. Korea), WeDo Technologies (Portugal), Tata Consultancy Services, IV.ai, Afiniti, Convene, Lightspeed, Drake Star, Searchlight Capital, among others.

    Rob was Chief Technical Officer of Leap Wireless/Cricket, until its sale to AT&T in March 2014. At the 6th largest wireless carrier, Rob led all Information Technology, Engineering and Operations (CDMA and LTE networks), and Product Realization.

    In the satellite market, Strickland served as CIO for Echostar/Dish Network and Interim Group CTO for Televisa, including izzi and SKY properties. Strickland also provided PrimeStar’s BSS through Continental Cablevision’s IT department. In the wireless market, Strickland served as CIO for T-Mobile, interim COO for TruConnect and an advisory role for GenMobile, in addition to his CTO role at Leap Wireless.

    Strickland is a board director at Text+, Atonomi.io, Centri Technologies, and of OCEARCH. In 2017, Rob joined Rady Childrens Hospital Board of Trustees IT Task force. He serves on several Advisory Boards: Boston Red Sox, B2B Soft, Afiniti, SAP – Independent Executive Advisory Board, Canaan Partners and WeFi. He previously served as Board Advisor to the Sundance Institute.

    Early in Rob’s career he was CIO at Continental Cablevision and CTO for Landmark Communications  (Weather Channel). He worked at Apple, Harvard Business School, Stratus Computers and Honeywell International. After the sale of Continental to US West, Strickland led several small VC backed start-ups in the mid-Atlantic states.

    Strickland is a 1984 Mathematics graduate from Brandeis University. He resides in the Austin, Texas area with his family and horses.
